Getting Married in Florence
Sophie and Gavin are from the UK and when they decided they were getting married in Florence, I was delighted that they chose me as their destination wedding photographer.
The couple chose Villa Cora as their wedding venue when getting married in Florence.
This stunning hotel has four floors, each boasting its own style.
In my opinion, as a destination wedding photographer, this five star hotel is simply stunning…it somehow manages to seamlessly blend its antique decadent décor with touches of modern chic.

The Ceremony
When getting married in Florence, Sophie chose to get ready in the bridal suite with her mother, mother-in-law and bridesmaids. It was so lovely to see everyone well-up with happiness as Sophie appeared in her stunning ivory and blush lace dress which matched her elegant bouquet beautifully and I loved being able to catch these moments as their destination wedding photographer.
Soon it was time for the ceremony which was to take place on the lawn of the hotel’s grounds.
As Sophie appeared with her father at the top of the steps she looked magnificent. The ceremony was lovely and relaxed and Sophie and Gavin really showed what a perfect match they are.

The Reception and Evening
The reception was held in the fabulous Mirror Room. As their destination wedding photographer I adored the gold mirror backdrop. The speeches went down a treat and everyone enjoyed their wonderful food.
The couple then moved onto the balcony to cut their three tiered cake before moving onto another room inside ready to dance the night away. The happy newlyweds and their fun-loving guests really did take to that dancefloor and made the most of the celebrations.
As their destination wedding photographer it really was a joy to shoot their gracious and intimate wedding day. Getting married in Florence was truly their best decision for such a romantic setting.

Being Sophie and Gavin’s Destination Wedding Photographer
I had such a fantastic time being Sophie and Gavin’s destination wedding photographer, whilst getting married in Florence.
It was amazing to be able to capture their endless love with my photojournalistic style approach.
